Effective December 15, 2025, all individuals applying for an H-1B, H-4, F, M, or J nonimmigrant visa are instructed to adjust the privacy setting on all social media accounts to ‘public’ to facilitate vetting necessary to establish their identity and admissibility to the United States under U.S. law.
